Perched on over one acres of complete privacy, the 9,000 sq ft residence has five bedrooms, eight bathrooms and a contemporary interior that charms upon a first glance. It is currently being offered for sale at $18 million, but looking at the stylish pool luxurius house design and the amazing view over the bustling city.
Chic, modern house design, luxurius and inspiring, white is the new trend in interior design. And by looking at the stunning Nightingale House — an epic modern architectural masterpiece soaring above Los Angeles, Marc Canadell really did great bringing unusual warmth into this minimalist home in the city of gorgeous homes design.

Colorful Interior Bloom House Design
Lynn managed to create an intriguing piece of architecture that shields its true nature from the casual passerby. The only hint is part of a curved, yellow fiberglass light fixture that illuminates the porch. The fixture continues inside and, in following the nature of the house, expands into an intricate sculpture.
Greg Lynn Architects has designed his first commissioned residential project ‘The 4,200-square-foot Bloom House’ that was build for a film and television director. Bloom house is a great example of a colorful home interior which is decorated using unusual minimalist furniture. This first physical realization of Lynn work is especially impressive when judged by interior spaces, which employ deliberately distorted surfaces. These undulating surfaces appear everywhere, from the walls, to the furniture, to the lighting fixtures. The interior is stark and white, with bright pops of color in the form of artwork and furniture upholstery.

Cottage House Design
White walls, white pieces of furniture, white cushions .. yes, up to and including Marianne’s canoe is white. The only thing that is not white is the facade of the cottage house that is red.
Cottage houses are for those people who are seeking simplicity and the tranquility of nature. Cottages originated in Medieval Europe as housing for farm workers families, and they were built of stone or inexpensive local materials such as thatch. Nowadays small cottage house plans are usually used by retirees whose families have moved away, or as summer vacation or weekend getaway homes by people who live in cities. Today I’m going to present a cottage house owned by the Skoglund family and where the color choice is obvious. The interior walls are consistently painted in a broken white nuance and the furnishings feels well thought-outly and carefully selected.
Contemporary Mountain Home Design
This ultra-modern mountain home was designed and built using traditional techniques designed by architect Ulisses Morato ( Brazil’s Morato Arquitetura ) this beautiful modern mountain home design was awarded the 10th Architecture Award promoted by IAB-MG (Instituto dos Arquitetos do Brasil – Minas Gerais) 2008, in the single houses category, and is situated on a hilltop in Minas Gerais, Brazil, embraced by a vast valley and majestic mountain rang.
This contemporary mountain home employs time-honored methods and local materials with traditional, manual construction, and uses strong Portuguese colonial architecture influences. Built on three levels, the unique layout allows for a graceful yet functional use of the steeply sloping site.
Now here are a few words about this project from the architect : “Space definition privileged the possibilities of relationship of house users with the exuberant natural landscape. As for the relation of house-nature, we decided for the contrast, i.e. the radicalization of a geometric and rational design in opposition to natural organic shapes. Therefore, the ‘natural order’ and ‘cultural order’ are mutually distinguished and valued.”

Freshtents : New Style for Your Traveling
Utilizing anything from light modular materials and low-energy appliances to heavy wooden decking and a full-size enamel bathtub, the tents can be set up in anywhere from three hours to a full week and are designed to be anti-rot, UV-protective, and water-proof. Needless to say, it’s the best way to keep your design senses sharp while you brave the wilderness.
Just because you have to go on vacation, doesn’t mean that you have to sacrifice amazing design! Based in Arizona, custom tent manufacturer and interior designers Exclusive Tents develop custom tents and interiors for your various outdoor requirements. I was able to walk through one of their tents at Los Angeles’s Dwell on Design event and it was amazing how spacious and well-planned the interior was, which included a lounge, a master bedroom, and a separate bathroom.
